Submission Guidelines

Thank you for considering Global Management Sciences Review (GMSR) for your manuscript. GMSR is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original, high-quality research within the fields covered by its aims and scope. data-start="243" data-end="337">Please carefully review the following submission guidelines before submitting your manuscript: data-start="339" data-end="2071" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">

  • Originality and Exclusive Submission
    Manuscripts submitted to GMSR must be original and must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication in another journal. data-section-id="1ngydvz" data-start="542" data-end="705">Online Submission

    Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) and formatted according to the author guidelines and publication policies of GMSR. data-section-id="1giogqo" data-start="886" data-end="1250">Double-Blind Peer Review
    GMSR uses a double-blind peer-review process. Authors should therefore submit the manuscript without author names, affiliations, email addresses, acknowledgements, or other information that may identify the authors.     References and in-text citations should follow APA 7th edition. Where available, authors should provide DOI links or stable URLs for cited sources. data-section-id="1ybjx86" data-start="1428" data-end="1653">Manuscript Components
    The main manuscript, including the text, tables, and figures, should be submitted as a single Microsoft Word file. The manuscript should not contain identifying information about the authors. data-section-id="sp42ho" data-start="1655" data-end="1899">Author Registration
    Authors must register with the GMSR online submission system before submitting a manuscript.     Submission of a manuscript to GMSR confirms that the authors have read and agreed to the journal's submission and publication policies.

    Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

  • The title should be concise, descriptive, and clearly reflect the content of the manuscript. data-section-id="f2qd0b" data-start="310" data-end="382">Authors should use Title Case and avoid unnecessary abbreviations.

  • Because GMSR uses a double-blind peer-review process, author information must not be included in the anonymous manuscript.

  • The corresponding author must be clearly identified. data-section-id="1a2hhdn" data-start="941" data-end="1084">The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal during submission, peer review, publication, and post-publication. data-section-id="11yjoba" data-start="1085" data-end="1216">The corresponding author's institutional or professional email address and complete institutional affiliation should be provided. data-section-id="1rp6tk5" data-start="1217" data-end="1308">Telephone numbers are not required unless specifically requested by the editorial office.

  • All manuscripts must include a concise abstract of 150–250 words. data-section-id="f77tji" data-start="1395" data-end="1548">The abstract should briefly describe:
    • Research background or problem. data-section-id="1ffh2oz" data-start="1473" data-end="1495">Research objectives. data-section-id="33982z" data-start="1498" data-end="1512">Methodology. data-section-id="1cy2lnv" data-start="1515" data-end="1532">Major findings. data-section-id="tcywth" data-start="1535" data-end="1548">Conclusion.

  • Authors should provide 3–10 keywords. data-section-id="a6h2a7" data-start="1744" data-end="1819">Keywords should accurately represent the main subjects of the manuscript. data-section-id="169bzc6" data-start="1820" data-end="1861">Keywords should be separated by commas. data-section-id="1nh5zhz" data-start="1862" data-end="1905">Keywords should not end with a full stop.

  • Research articles should normally contain 3,500–7,000 words. data-section-id="m7s753" data-start="2004" data-end="2100">Longer manuscripts may be considered where the additional length is justified by the research. data-section-id="97bdzz" data-start="2101" data-end="2172">Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx). data-section-id="1qoy0lq" data-start="2173" data-end="2258">The main text should normally be double-spaced, including footnotes and references. data-section-id="b75x99" data-start="2259" data-end="2379">Authors should write clearly and concisely while providing sufficient detail to support the research and its findings.

  • Authors should use clear headings and subheadings to organize the manuscript. data-section-id="svzo8x" data-start="2490" data-end="2540">Numbered sections may be used where appropriate. data-section-id="8gsyep" data-start="2541" data-end="2600">The abstract should not be included in section numbering.

  • Tables and figures should be incorporated into the manuscript and placed near their first mention in the text. data-section-id="q4d0wc" data-start="2738" data-end="2792">Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively. data-section-id="ty02z2" data-start="2793" data-end="2854">Each table and figure should have a clear title or caption. data-section-id="dzydyy" data-start="2855" data-end="2910">Tables and figures should be referred to in the text. data-section-id="ybijs6" data-start="2911" data-end="2982">Tables and figures should be presented in a clear and legible format. data-section-id="12lphfg" data-start="2983" data-end="3088">Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for copyrighted material where permission is required.

  • Mathematical and other formulas, where applicable, should be presented clearly and consistently with the surrounding text. data-section-id="1vgsdwg" data-start="3251" data-end="3351">Authors should ensure that formulas remain readable in the manuscript and final published version.

  • References and in-text citations must follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), 7th edition. data-section-id="h43v3h" data-start="3504" data-end="3578">References should be listed alphabetically at the end of the manuscript. data-section-id="66gekp" data-start="3579" data-end="3643">Authors should provide a DOI for a cited work where available. data-section-id="6wyjxx" data-start="3644" data-end="3723">Where a DOI is not available, a stable URL may be included where appropriate.

  • Every work cited in the text must appear in the reference list. data-section-id="bnrm13" data-start="3817" data-end="3889">Every work included in the reference list should be cited in the text. data-section-id="f1hrxu" data-start="3890" data-end="3975">Authors should generally avoid citations in the abstract unless they are necessary. data-section-id="7x8dj5" data-start="3976" data-end="4157">Personal communications and unpublished information should normally be cited only in the text and should not be included in the reference list, in accordance with APA 7th edition.

  • Author biographies and photographs are not required for regular research article submissions. data-section-id="1369lia" data-start="4624" data-end="4745">The editorial office may request a biography or photograph separately for specific article types or editorial purposes.

  • Authors must disclose any financial support received for the research or publication of the manuscript. data-section-id="1gsd24e" data-start="4877" data-end="5012">If the research received no specific funding, authors may state:
