Innovative Leadership: Impact and Challenges in Secondary and Higher Secondary Institutes of Pakistan

    This study investigates the impact of innovative leadership and identifies the challenges faced by such leadership in educational institutes in Pakistan. The study used a qualitative research technique of research design for investigation and data was collected through open-ended questionnaire-cum interview. Innovative dimensions like Creativity/brainstorming, technology innovation, and skilled development innovation in teaching pedagogies have been focused on in this study. The results of this study suggest that there is a significant impact of innovative leadership dimensions on the implementation considering organizational improvement, efficiency, and performance. Challenges faced by innovative leadership were also discussed/identified through results that need to be addressed accordingly for the consistent growth in secondary and higher secondary educational institutes of Pakistan.
